The South African music industry is mourning the untimely death of Sotho rapper Malome Vector, popular video director Da Mos and musician Lizwi in a car accident in the Free State.

It is reported that, the Lesotho rapper based in South Africa met his fate yesterday when he was with his friends.

Ambitious Entertainment has confirmed the ultimate departure of Malome by posting on their official Facebook page.

“With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a shining beacon, the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss. Rest In Peace Malome Vecto”, reads the post.

However, Malawian musician have also joined Mzansi in mourning the three for playing big role in Malawi music industry

Onesimus, Zeze, Janta, Saint and Theresa Phondo are some of the local artists who have shared heartwarming tributes to the three.

Malome Vector once did a song with Janta My Woman, and Da Mos the video director has been working with Malawi music video such Yewo by Phondo, Halfway, by saint, Solomon by Onesimus just to mention a few.
