Former leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa has saluted his newly formed Peoples Development Party (PDP) performance in the just ended by-elections in Mwansa and Chilaweni wards.
In Mwansa Ward, PDP candidate identified as Lynah Bridget got 57 votes and was on position 4 while in Chilaweni Ward,PDP candidate identified as Ted Kaliati who got 392 votes and also on fourth position.
In A statement released yesterday, Nankhumwa said the results show that Malawians have trust in his newly formed party ahead of the 2025 polls.
He then thanked Malawians who voted PDP candidates though they did not make it.
