Man Arrested For Possessing Medical Drugs In Phalombe

Police in Phalombe have arrested a 75-year-old man, Geoffrey Kaduya, after he was found selling medical drugs without a valid license.

According to Phalombe police spokesperson, Sergeant Jimmy KapanJa, the police were tipped off by other people on the fourth day that the man has a clinic where he sells medicine even though he did not have a license.

KapanJa said that the suspect was found with a lot of drugs, some of which are Bactrim, Metrodazole, Artmether, Lumefantrim, Amoxicillin, Erythromycin, Fragile, Bufen and fever testing equipment.

Meanwhile, the police are investigating where Kaduya used to get the drugs.
