A Pass Out Parade is currently underway at the Mtakataka Police Training School in Dedza District, where 631 new police officers are graduating.
The ceremony is being overseen by Inspector General of the Malawi Police Service, Merylin Yolamu.
Concurrently, similar events are happening at Limbe Police Training School in Blantyre and Mlangeni Police Training School in Ntcheu.
This marks the second cohort of recruits for 2024, with 278 of the graduates being women.
