Police in Mchinji have arrested seven people on allegations that they were selling pesticides without a license around Mchinji border.
The seven are five men and two women were arrested following a joint operation between police and officials from the Pesticides Control Board.
Mchinji police spokesperson Limbani Mpinganjira has confirmed of the development to media.
Mpinganjira has also told us that they have confiscated the pesticides as the suspects are expected to appear in court soon for formal charges.
