UDF postpones elective conference set for August 3

The United Democratic Front (UDF) has announced the postponement of its elective convention which was slated for August 3, 2024.
UDF Publicity Secretary Yusuf Mwawa has confirmed of the development in an interview the press.
According to Mwawa, the conference has been moved to a later date due to some technicalities.
Mwawa further said some aspirants were filling forms wrongly a development which has prompted a change in dates for the convention.
Meanwhile, Mwawa has said preparations for the elective conference are at an advanced stage and will take place at COMESA hall in Blantyre.
