Leader of Opposition in parliament, Dr. George Chaponda is meeting delegates in Blantyre ahead of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) convention slated for 17th-18th August, 2024.
Chaponda is vying for the position of DPP Vice President for the southern region.
He has since called for unity for the party to do well in the next’s polls.
Other prominent people who are attending the meeting are Charles Mchacha, Bertha Nachuma among others.
