Malawian social media lovers have reacted to a speech by Tonderi Banda on his engagement with Tahera Kalowa happened last weekend.
Tonderai, is seen in viral video delivering his speech during the ceremony as he was cheering his fiancé by saying she is the strong woman who is behind Tonderai’s success.
“Tahera has never been perfect but I love her, she is beautiful today because I invested in her, she wasn’t such beauty when met first, but I transformed her by investing in her” said Tonderai.
Tonderai continued his speech by encouraging youth to invest in their women so that they have create women they would love to settle down with.
“You’ll never find a woman you want but can create, my fellow youth invest in your women”, Said Tonderai.
However, the speech has triggered mixed reactions among Malawi netizens. The speech seem to be welcomed by women and being rebuffed by men. Women have flooded the speech in their whatsapp statuses to attack their men so that they should invest in them while men are saying Tonderai was drunk and what he said was the power of alcohol, no man will take risk of investing in woman who is not perfect.
