It was a great night on Sunday, July 28 for theatre lovers as they witnessed a great piece of two men play half past two by Arts Sustainability Lab.
The play, which was based on reflecting true life story, love, revenge and redemption, was captivating and talk of the night.
Speaking with Malawi News Agency (MANA), Creative Director for Arts Sustainability Lab, Jack Musumba, said they were contented with the feedback from the fans and the plays outcome.
“We did not expect to see a huge crowd as we have seen tonight and we are very thrilled because this has given us courage to work extra hard and be more creative on our upcoming projects,” said Musumba.
Musumba hailed the Sustainability Lab crew for their unwavering support in the process of this master-piece production, disclosing that they are planning to have a tour to showcase Half past two production.
One of the attendees of the show, Binali Umali, expressed appreciation for the creativity in the play.
“Actors were very connected in a way that its knitting was very precedent and you cannot tell what will come next. In short, it was a play full of surprises,” said Umali.
