Police at Limbe in Blantyre is looking for parents or guardian to a young female child who was found lost in Buleya village at Manje Soche Township.
Public Relations Officer for Limbe Police Sergeant Aubrey Singanyama has said that the child, who is responding to the name Beatrice is believed to be around 2-3 years old.
She was discovered abandoned at a shop in the area and she is currently safe under Police protective custody.
Police is therefore, urging anyone with information about a missing child or may recognize the girl to report to the nearest police station.
