Nkhata-Bay Central Constituency Member of Parliament Symon Vuwa Kaunda has quashed rumours hovering on the social media claiming that he is scheduled to join the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP) ahead of the 2025 polls.
Speaking in an interview with the press Vuwa Kaunda said that he remains member of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
He has added that ditching the former ruling party has never come to his mind.
Vuwa Kaunda has since revealed that he will contest on the position of National Director of Logistics at the forthcoming elective convention.
DPP is scheduled to hold its elective conference next month.
