The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) in Zamnia has adjusted upwards the price of petrol from K31.58 to K33.47 per litre.
Diesel has also been increased from K29.34 to K30.05 per litre, and the price of kerosene has been raised from K26.36 to K27.52 per litre.
The development was announced by ERB Board Chairperson, James Banda, on Wednesday in a statement regarding the monthly update of petroleum product prices.
Banda noted that since the previous fuel price review on 30th June 2024, the price of petrol has increased by 7.75 per cent.
Jet A-1 has also been adjusted from K29.20 to K30.53 per litre, with the changes effective from today on 1st August 2024.
