President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed Samuel Sakhuta as Director General of the recently established Mining Authority.
The appointment is with effect from July 31 2024.
Sakhuta has confirmed of his appointment in an interview with the press.
He said that the authority will help to drive the mining development agenda by doing the laid down functions to actualise policies set by the Ministry of Mining.
