Three people are reported dead while six others have sustained various degrees of injuries in an accident that happened at Malomo in Ntchisi District.
Ntchisi Police spokesperson Salomy Zgambo confirmed of the development, saying the accident happened last night.
Zgambo said the accident involved a Toyota Land Cruiser from Nkhotakota District Hospital which was en-route to Kasungu and a cyclist.
According to Zgambo, the Land Cruiser collided with cyclist at a place called Ching’amba.
It is said that the three died at the hospital where they were receiving treatment while six others are admitted at Kasungu District Hospital.
