Democratic Republic of Congo outfit TP Mazembe have confirmed through their Malawian representative Felix Ngamanya Sapao that they will not sign Mighty Mukuru Wanderers defender Lawrence Chaziya.
He, however, said FCB Nyasa Bullets duo of Patrick Mwaungulu and Lanjesi Nkhoma will be offered contracts.
Sapao said no reasons have been given by the Lubumbashi-based side for it’s U-turn on the lanky centre-back.
“Initially, the contract were supposed to be outright, but management felt players still needed to be assessed,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chaziya has confirmed that he is returning home.
“It’s true am coming home. Thank you so much God,” wrote Chaziya.
