Police in the South West Region have warned the public against indulging in behaviors that expose them to danger.

The call comes following reports of attacks on people who park their cars in dark corners to fulfill their sexual desires.

South West Region Deputy Publicist, Beatrice Mikuwa, has told media that they have been receiving reports from motorists who claim to have been attacked by unknown criminals by the roadside.

This led the police to institute investigations into the matter, where it has been established that most of those who were attacked were found having sexual intercourse in the cars by the roadside and in dark corners.

The region has received such reports from Soche, Bangwe, Manase, Mbwelera, and Stella Maris where items like laptops, phone, cash and other valuables were stolen and cars recovered by police,
