Zambia Police Investigates The Death Of 26 Year-old Nurse ‘Sibongile Mwale’

Police in Zambiara are investigating the sudden death of 26-year-old nurse, Sibongile Mwale, at Phikamalaza rural health centre.
According to Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer, Robertson Mweemba, preliminary investigations suggest no foul play, but rather a suspected suicide by ingestion of a chemical used to treat maize.
The motive behind her actions remains unknown, as no note was left behind. Police are continuing to investigate the matter.
