Information reaching this publication indicates that Jessie Kabwila has been elected as Publicity Secretary for the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP) replacing Ezekiel Ching’oma.
Kabwila amassed 850 votes outclassing Ching’oma who got 400.
The development means now Kabwila is now back into MCP ford.
The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) is holding the elective conference and ahead of the 2025 polls.
The convention is being presided over by the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).
