Kenya pastor identified as Paul Mackenzie has denied the accusation of killing more 400 people of his congregation after telling them to fast so they can see Jesus in heaven.
The self-proclaimed Pastor, appeared in court yesterday with 94 others answering the terrorism-related crimes following the death of his churchgoers who was found buried in Shakahola forest near the Indian Ocean.
It is reported that Mackenzie, the head of the Good News International Church, incited his acolytes in southeastern Kenya to starve themselves and their children to death so they could go to heaven before the world ended.
Mackenzie was arrested in April last year 2023, following the discovery of 429 people in the forest.Meanwhile,one of the 94 suspects detained alongside cult leader Mackenzie has died in prison.
