DPP’s Blazio Chinthenga Elected Chairperson of Zomba District Council

Zomba District Council has elected Blazio Chinthenga of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) as its new chairperson.
Chinthenga won the position by defeating three other councillors and succeeds Baster Chirwa in the role.
In his acceptance speech, Chinthenga pledged to foster unity within the council and to diligently oversee development projects.
The election marks a significant leadership change for the council as Chinthenga takes on the responsibility of guiding its future initiatives.
