One of the the public accounting and advisory firms in the country, AMG Global, has moved in to sponsors this year’s Insurance Institute of Malawi (IIM) Lake Conference with money amounting to MK5 million.
This year’s IIM Lake Conference will be held at Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi from August 29-31 and will be held under the theme; “Transforming Malawi Through Insurance Innovation, Inclusion, and Growth: Towards Malawi 2063.”
Speaking after handover the Cheque AMG Global Senior Business Development Manager Limbani Msosa said the company recognizes the crucial role IIM play in the Insurance sector hence the donation.
“Basically AMG Global is a professional firm, we are an audit firm but we provide others services such as tax, consultancies and business development or business advisory services. Now looking at IIm itself, is also an umbrella body of Insurance companies.
“Basically its all about professionalism. We support professionalism and we would like them to continue the good work they are doing in the country,” said Msosa.
On his part IIM President Reuben Kamanga Kawelele hailed AMG Global for the donation (Platinum), saying it will go a long way in supporting the Lake conference.
“AS IIM we are very grateful to AMG Global for the donation. This donation will help us organized the colorful event at Nkopola Lodge,” said Kawelele.
He then urged other companies to emulate AMG Global’s gesture.
