The youthful Member of Parliament for Machinga South East Constituency Fyness Magonjwa has hailed delegates to the just ended elective conference for roping her into the National Governing Council (NGC).

Magonjwa was elected as DPP Director of Social Services and will be deputized by Abiti Jane Mandeule.

Writing on her official facebook page Magonjwa said she will use the position by working tirelessly towards the vision of the party leader Professor Peter Mutharika.

“I am deeply honored and profoundly grateful to all the delegates who placed their trust in me by electing me as the Director of Social Services. Your confidence in my leadership is something I will cherish and uphold with the utmost dedication.

“I am committed to working tirelessly towards the vision of our esteemed leader, Professor Peter Mutharika, whose guidance continues to inspire us all,” said Magonjwa.

She added: “To my Deputy, Abiti Jane Mandeule I look forward to a strong and collaborative partnership. Together, we will work for the betterment of our beloved party, the mighty Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

“The DPP elective convention was a resounding success, and we are now fully prepared to mobilize and energize our supporters as we head towards the September 2025 General Elections.”
