26 People burnt to death in minibus fire accident in Kasungu

Information reaching this publication indicates that a total of 26 people have been burnt to death after a minibus collided with a fuel tanker in Kasungu this morning.
Kasungu Police spokesperson Joseph Kachikho has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the minibus had 25 people on board.
Kachikho said that another victim is the cyclist.
The accident happened at the area of Chief Katondo along Chinkhoma-Santhe road in the district.
Meanwhile, identities of the deceased are yet to be revealed.
