A minibus with unknown number of passengers on board has been gutted down by fire in the area of Chief Katondo along Chinkhoma-Santhe road in Kasungu.
Kasungu Police spokesperson Joseph Kachikho has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Kachikho said the law enforcers are investigating the cause of the accident and also to establish the number of passengers who were in the minibus.
It is said that the minibus collided with a fuel tanker before overturning several times.
Few miniutes later fire erupted consuming the whole minibus together with the passengers.
