The Tonse Alliance Government through Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) has said no school should adjust any form of fee without the approval of the ministry.
The development comes barely weeks as schools across the country are set to open for the firs term.
MoEST spokesperson Mphatso Nkuonera, told the press that the ministry received reports about the fee adjustments and has advised school administrators through division managers on the same.
Recently, Community Day Secondary Schools in some parts of the country adjusted school fees upwards from K25,000.00 per term to K40,000.00.
The adjustment placed parents especially those from the villagers in an awkward situation.
The order now is a relief to parents and guardians.
