The body of Father Claude Boucher, who founded the Kungoni Cultural Center in Mua, Dedza District, will be laid to rest on Thursday.

Father Boucher passed away on Monday at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe after a prolonged illness.

One of those who worked with Father Boucher, Joseph John Kadzombe Gama, confirmed this information. Gama, who was taught by Boucher and now leads the Kungoni group in cultural preservation and ceremonies, said that the deceased’s body was taken to Likuni for storage and then transferred to Mua in Dedza for burial.

“There will be a third Mass once the body arrives, and there will also be a fourth Mass later on,” said Gama.

May His Soul Rest In Peace
