United Transformation movement (UTM) has said it will hold its elective conference on November 17, 2024 ahead of the 2025 polls.

UTM Publicity Secretary Felix Njawala announced thid during media briefing currently underway at Mount Soche Hotel in the commercial Capital Blantyre.

Njawala then appealed to all aspiring candidates to engage themselves in issue based campaign by refraining from hate speeches.

He went further to appeal to all UTM members to respect the soul of late Dr. Saulos Chilima who died in a plane crash on June 10, 2024.

Some of the figures attending the briefing are Secretary General Patricia Kaliati, party spokesperson Felix Njawala, and other senior officials Richard Makondi and Newton Kambala, among others.
