Malawian celebrated video director Ronald Zeleza popularly known as Ron Cz in music circle, has encouraged musician to have something aside that can bring food on the table rather than depending on music only.
Ron Cz has made the sentiment today on 28 August 2024 through his official Facebook page.
The director, has posted that having a side hustle is crucial for artists, due to the unpredictable nature of the industry.
“The constant influx of new talent and shifting trends can mean that an artist’s primary source of income might not always be reliable”, reads the post.
According to Ron Cz, a side hustle provides financial stability, allowing artists to focus on their craft without the stress of financial insecurity.
It also offers opportunities for personal and professional growth outside of their artistic pursuits, contributing to a more balanced and sustainable career, added Ron.
The director who has been in music industry for more than ten years, has shared this encouragement through his experience as the industry can be frustrating at times especially here in Malawi.
