Two people have reportedly lost their live after being involved in a tragic road accident happened earlier today ta Naming’azi road in Zomba district.
Spokesperson for Zomba Police Patricial Sipilano has confirmed the sad development and say two people have lost their lives and two people are now nursing wounds following the incident.
According to Sipilano, a small car (Mira) was coming from Zomba town towards Songani before colliding with a truck coming from Domasi going to Zomba town.
Confirmed the matter to media, Zomba Central Hospital spokesperson Fredson Kambeni has identified the driver of the Mira as Collins Potani who died at the scene of the accident while another died while receiving medical treatment.
“Both of them have been affected by the accident, including the father. Of the two who have been admitted here at the hospital, one has a serious head injury while the other has broken bones,” explained Kambeni.
