
Congolese Man Nabbed For Selling Fake Tam Tam Drinks In Dowa

Police in Dowa have arrested a 43 year-old Congolese based in Dzaleka refugee camp on suspicion of allegedly selling fake drinks called Tam Tam
Police spokesperson in Dowa, Alice Sitima, has confirmed the arrest and identified the suspect as Kamavance Ammy.
Ammy has been arrested today following a complaint by the company that produces this drink.
After police investigation,they found that the drink he was selling was different from the one produced by the company and this led to Ammy’s arrest.
According to Mr. Sitima, the suspects who have been found guilty of selling fraudulent goods will appear in court tomorrow in the district.
