Police in Rumphi have arrested a 46 year old Man (name with held) on suspicion that he defiled his 16 year-old biological daughter.
Rumphi Police spokesperson Noel Kamchenga has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kamchenga, the suspect committed the offence on July 27, 2024.
Meanwhile, police say investigations into the matter are still underway.
Both the victim and the suspect are from the area of Traditional Authority Chikulamayembe in the district.
