An Identified suspected thief who was caught red-handed stealing Tomato and Irish Potatoes at houses belonging to Malawi Housing in Zingwangwa has been rescued from the angry mob.

It is said that the thief invaded a certain house with an intention to steal Irish Potatoes and Tomatoes.

While there, the owner of the house recognized the suspect and shouted for help.

Residents responded positively and managed to apprehend the suspected just few meters away from the house.

The angry residents then started beating the suspect mercilessly before attempting to set him on fire.

Law enforcers rushed to the scene and rescued the suspect.
