Flames coach Patrick Mabedi has named a provisional squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations ( Afcon) qualifiers against Burundi and Burkina Faso.

The Flames will host Burundi at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe next week Thursday before facing Burkina Faso five days later.

Notable inclusion in the squad is Costa Do Sol attacking midfielder Yamikani Chester.

Chester returns to the Flames fold after one year.

Mabedi has believed the work of Chawanagwa kaonga, Gadie Chirwa,Chifundo Mphasi and Zeliat Nkhoma as flames striking force.

However, Frank Gabadinho Mhango has been excluded again.
