Police at Jenda in Mzimba have apprehended 13 people on suspicion that they committed various crimes around Jenda trading centre.
After receiving numerous reports on theft in homes, on August 03, 2024 Police detectives conducted an intelligence driven operation that led to the arrest of these 13 suspects.
Following their arrests, a number of cases have been solved, such as theft at Meru filling station, house breaking at Bumbunyika and burglary and theft at section 10. Also a number of household items have been recovered.
All the suspects will appear before court after the completion of paper work to answer their charges.
