Rumphi East MP Kamlepo Kalua has asked government to make secondary education free to make it accessible for every Malawian.
Speaking in Parliament this afternoon, Kalua said other countries have done it and Malawi can do it as well.
He said the same way the country managed to make primary education free, secondary education can also be free.
Deputy Minister of Education Nancy Mdooko said it would be hard to implement free secondary education due to resource constraints.
