Hajj Habib Nsikonnene, a young man from Uganda, recently garnered attention by marrying seven women on the same day.
He expressed his desire to build a large, happy family and hinted that he might take more wives in the future, as polygamy is a tradition in his family.
The grand wedding ceremony took place last weekend in Mukono district, where the seven brides—Aisha, Aisha, Fatuma, Sharifah, Rashida, Mariam, and Zainab—were first treated to beauty salon services and then transported in specially marked vans.
The event, which featured a parade through Kalagi, Kasana, and Nakifuma towns, was widely shared on social media, prompting diverse reactions.
Nsikonnene noted that the oldest of his new wives has been with him for seven years and chose to marry them all at once to prevent jealousy.
