Information reaching this publication indicates that armed thieves in the wee hours of Friday invaded Chinkhuti Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) and went away with items donated Malawi Communication Regulatory Authority (MACRA).

MACRA donated crucial material intended for the construction of Computer Laboratories under the MACRA’s Connect-A-School Project.

“A theft incident occurred at Chinkhuti CDSS in Lumbadzi during the early hours of September 6, 2024. Approximately 14 assailants, armed with panga knives, stormed the campus around 1 am, catching authorities off guard.

“The thieves made off with 42 Y Bars, a crucial material intended for the construction of Computer Laboratories under the MACRA’s Connect-A-School Project,” reads part of the report made available to this publication.

The stolen items were stored behind the administration block, leaving the school community shaken and concerned.
