The elective conference for the opposition Peoples Party (PP) is currently underway at Crossroads Hotel in the capital Lilongwe.
Former President Dr. Joyce Banda who is also founder of PP together with Justice Richard Banda SC retired are in attendance.
Also present is Maunde President Dr. George M’nesa who is also Tonse Alliance spokesperson. M’nesa has been accompanied by United Democratic Front (UDF) top officials.
Joyce Banda who is also seeking her return in the forthcoming 2025 polls is scheduled to go unopposed at the elective conference.
A total of 15 posts are up for grabs.
