Suspect Detained After Assaulting Officers During Drug Operation in Nkhotakota

Information reaching this publication indicates that police in Nkhotakota have arrested one person suspected of assaulting a police officer.

The suspects reportedly attacked the police officers who had arrived at a place known as a “shed,” where it is alleged that marijuana is being sold.

According to Nkhotakota district police spokesperson, Paul Malimwe, the police are searching for other individuals believed to be involved in the assault on the officers.
