Information reaching this publication indicates that ten people from the village of Kaole in the region of the great chief Tambala in Dedza rushed to the hospital after eating wedding rice, which they suspect to be poisoned.
Chief Kaole reported that some of the people who ate the rice were taken to Holistic Hospital, while others were rushed to Chiphwanya Hospital.
The owner of Holistic Hospital, Savel Kafwafwa, confirmed that they received six sick individuals from one family who had eaten the rice.
