The Malawi Housing Corporation (MHC) in conjunction with the Malawi Defence Force (MDF) in the wee hours of today have demolished property worth millions belonging to local Malawian developers in Lilongwe’s Area 43
Some developers, have told local media that they are surprised with the move as the matter is in the court since 2022.
In the case, the local developers are arguing that government has no say in the land as they purchased the pieces of land from the local chiefs.
