Police Arrest 13 In Balaka

Police in Balaka district, have arrested thirteen people during an operation called Usalama.
According to Balaka Police Public Relations Officer, Gladson M’bumpha, the arrested committed various crimes.
The crimes include robbery, found in possession of counterfeit products, burglary and theft,found in possession of Chamba and having sexual intercourse with a minor among others.
M’bumpha,said the operation took place at Majiga 2, Chingeni, Mgawanyemba,Phalula and Balaka Township.
The suspects will appear before court to answer charges leveled against them.
