The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has announced that voter registration for next year’s elections will begin on October 21, 2024.
According to Annabel Mtalimanja, MEC Chair, the registration process will be conducted in three phases and is expected to conclude by December 11, 2024.
The first phase will run from October 21 to November 3, 2024. The second phase will take place from November 9 to November 22, 2024. The final phase will be held from November 28 to December 11, 2024.
