ADMARC To Open Markets For Maize Sale On Friday – K39,500 per 50Kg

Ministry of Agriculture has announced that Agriculture Development and Marketing Corporation ADMARC, markets will officially re-open on Friday, 13 September, 2024, with maize selling at q new price of K790 per Kilogramme (Kg).
This translates to K39,500 per 50Kg bag, significantly lower than the current market price of K50,000 per 50kg bag in areas experiencing critical shortage of the commodity.
According to a press release from the ministry, the pricing strategy is designed to provide affordable maize access to Malawians, especially those facing economic challenges.
