Former deputy speaker of Parliament Hon Esther Mcheka Chilenje has refuted the allegations that she is desperate after failing to make at MCP convention.
Chilenje said that she is firmly loyal to MCP and the president of the party Dr Lazarus Chakwera .
“We can serve the party through various positions apart from vice presidency .
” I am strongly happy with MCP , and I can’t quit, ” said Chilenje.
On parliamentary seat, she said she would make it with avalanche number of votes .
“People of Nsanje North need me to continue with the number of projects I left when I was MP, Come 2025 , I am going back to Parliament,” she added.
