A suspected thief at Namphungo in Mulanje has been burnt to death by an angry mob.
Village Head Namphungo confirmed of the incident in an interview with the press on Sunday, saying the other suspect is in police custody.
According to the chief, the two are thought to have attacked “and seriously wounded” an agro-trader in Manyumba village.
Mulanje Police spokesman, Innocent Moses also confirmed of the development.
Meanwhile, no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
