Three people are reported dead after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned at a place called Tchayoloko near Nkhamenya Trading Centre in Kasungu.
The accident involved a Voxy registration number BW1547 which was en-route to Lilongwe from Mzuzu.
One of the top officials from Nkhamenya Mission Hospital John Chipeta has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.
Chipeta said the three died on the spot.
According to Chipeta, 8 others have been referred to Kasungu District Hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
