President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has departed Malawi, for the United States of America (USA), where he will attend the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The UNGA session is set to take place from the 20th to the 27th of September 2024 and will see President Chakwera’s participation in a series of high-level meetings.
President Chakwera is also poised to engage in bilateral discussions with fellow Heads of State and Government, leaders of international organisations, and investors, among other dignitaries.
