The Vice President Dr. Michael Usi, is visiting some people in Kasungu District who have taken loans from NEEF. This comes as the district is reported to be one of the areas effectively repaying these loans.
During a visit to Chinkhoma, Chief Njombwa noted that the NEEF loans for agricultural equipment have transformed the lives of farmers in the area.
Therefore, the chief has requested that NEEF consider providing loans to more people due to ongoing delays and challenges in the repayment process.
However, Usi stated that individuals who have not started businesses should approach NEEF to access the Vuwukani loans, which do not require collateral to improve their livelihoods.
Usi also reminded those taking loans to repay them, emphasizing the benefits of building good homes with the proceeds.
He advised NEEF staff not to be overly eager to provide loans to many people but to also consider the needs of those who have not yet received assistance.
The Vice President is expected to continue his tour in Bomfa, which is also benefiting from NEEF in the area of Chief Mphomwa in the district.
