President Lazarus Chakwera is set to depart from the country today going to United States of America.

The president, will attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which will take place from the 20th to the 27th of this month.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that President Chakwera will also participate in the “Summit for the Future,” where global leaders will discuss the challenges facing various countries.

In a statement, the Ministry further mentioned that President Chakwera will hold meetings with other world leaders and business executives who may contribute to advancing the country’s development goals.

Last month, the President visited Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Italy, and Germany. At the beginning of this month, he was in China for a summit between China and African nations.
